Pandora style beads... those are the fancy beads with a large hole in the center right? Jewelry stores around here usually offer them on a thick hoop of metal.

In any case, I don't think it's the strength of the weave you need to worry about, so much as the strength of the rings. Almost any weave could be strong, or not, depending on the material and ring size.

If they are the beads Aderamelech describes I like to make a thin tight rope weave to run through them instead of trying to hang them on a weave with large AR rings.

From what I could find out, the Pandora beads have a center hole 4.5mm in size. I think Derailed has a good idea there, making a chain that will fit through the beads. So then, what would be a good weave for a chain 4-4.5mm thick?

I was originally thinking of a byzantine but now prefer jpl ... my only problem with jpl is that it has a AR of 3 and i cant find stainless steel rings in the uk that are sold with that ratio.
Also what gauge would you suggest?

umm CCC, fp6in1, jpl3, Keda, and other interlinked round weaves. i think byz would be a bad choce. the beads would likly get snaged on the chain itself. potenchuly leading to damage and annoance by holding the ring off the chain with the bead.

Have you tried 20awg(.81mm), 3/32" or 2.25mm in stainless steel?
