I've been doing quite a bit of wire-wrapping lately as I have a craft show next month and wanted to use some of the stones I've been polishing. Sooooo, here are a few more pics.
Sterling silver wire-wrapped pendant. Hand-polished (side-cut) honeycomb coral with pearl drop. The honeycomb coral is one of many pieces I found on my family's camping/rockhounding trip this year.
Sterling silver wire-wrapped pendant. Hand-polished Petoskey stone.

| Very nice Narrina. Tell me, cuz I'm interested, is square wire used mostly because of the look or does it help the stones hold better? I have mostly round wire, saving the square wire I have for when I can use it and not ruin it! |

Thanks, Carys! I've used both round and square wire for wire-wrapping (sometimes in the same piece), however square wire does tend to work better than round wire for wire-wrapping.

Inspiring! You make it look so elegant and simple it makes me want to try. **rethinks that** The grace and beauty you display is definitely something that I would have difficulty duplicating. Thank you for the inspiration.

| Practice makes perfect, MusicMan. If you never try, you'll never become good at it. Also, common courtesy, I would not suggest trying to duplicate it. Instead, try to make something as nice as the item you wish to duplicate. |

Thank you! Petoskey stone is found only in Michigan (although closely related forms of coral are found elsewhere).

Ya, I saw your location used to say you were in Tawas. Lol, you were just about an hour north of me, as I currently live in Standish.
