Nope, not JPL...
Thought JPL5 is still on my hitlist for this week...

I got bored today, so I pulled out an old project to continue...

It's Micro Captive Inverted Round... 26g AWG, 3/32" ID rings.
Copper, Ice Blue and Purple EC.
(After some weaving, they probably could've done with being dropped a 128th, or possibly even a 64th... That being said, it's not too loose... Just not as stiff as my CIR usually is... The captives sit funny when it's laying down.

It's not actually as fragile as you might think... And in a year, who knows, maybe it'll be a necklace... I'm going blind just thinking about it.

Shown here with 20g AWG 5/32" CIR and a Canadian and Ameri-folk penny. (That's for you peeps that don't believe in our Monopoly money Coif LoL)

[EDIT: Scroll down... The 26g stuff is at the BOTTOM of the photo]

It's official, you're nuts.

Looks amazing though. I can't really pick out the blue, but the contrast in the purple is just awesome against copper. Now I want to break out the EC again.

That is amazing. I have difficulties with CIR at large sized, I can see why you are going blind.

Gawh, I fell for it! I was so sure you had done the 'J' weave. I like this though. I have an ancient 12-pack of EC that I now know what to do with. Thanks!

(I love your monopoly money. And your Loonies and Twonies. I especially love the Bill Reid sculpture on the reverse of your twenties. Though the Aussie bills with the clear, plastic windows have to be the coolest I've seen. Ours is just so boring.)

But DL, I gotta say, I'm liking your kind of crazy. Uber Ha ha... I just realized why we have an emoticon with glasses!

Thank you all Smile You're right, I might be nuts... But hey, I'm fun!

It's almost a bracelet at this point... I'll take a picture with a Toonie in the shot just for you lot as soon as it's finished Coif LoL

I've recently discovered that it takes a lot longer to weave things when they're this teeny... Even my Xurons are functionally too large... I'll have to take a couple of pairs to work and run them across the grinder...

what you don't have a shrink ray in that coder's tricks , I was sure there was a "Newtsize" , setting on those Proton packs you guys have been handing out so liberally as of late Laughing

Both physically, exhausting (eyestrain), but also mentally more frustrating in general because you're making incremental advancement on such a small scale after a couple of Hour you've woven an inch, it can be depressing, not to mention the frustration of knowing what to do, but being unable to execute effectively due to scale issues.

TELL ME ABOUT IT! Surprised
20 or so captives in, and you realize you've gone through a full Disc of your favourite show, and the sun is coming up... Where does the time go... Coif LoL

I will say though, that CIR moves a lot faster than HP4 in the same size rings.
