All of the wire was picked up yesterday. Thanks to the Maillers that bought some of what we had!
I think I have more wire than any one sane person would know what to do with, and I'm trying to get rid of it. I'd rather it go to a good use (like maille!) than to the recycler so here is your chance to also own more wire than any one person would know what to do with!
(ST=Stainless, measurement is in inches, qty by pound not by feet) All of the wire is steel. It comes in large coils. I have anywhere from 20 feet to 1000 feet of any given wire, so if there is something you're interested in send PM/email and I will let you know how much I have.
You can get it if you live near Kent, WA, otherwise ships via Flat Rate Box or UPS. If you do buy many coils, I try to give you a better deal, especially if you are shipping it. We can do credit/debit or paypal.
Edited- $10/coil + shipping, $500 for all wire as a lot.
Here is the list [UPDATED7/19/11]:
Some of this might be unavailable as I have to check with the other materials guy. Apparently we still use some of this, but in small quantities, and I sold something I wasn't supposed to. Oh well. This is what my spreadsheet says we have left:

Damn thats so tempting. However I just blew all my cash on the new titanium clasp/bracelets I'm getting machined.
Try ebay, either as single spools or as one large lot. Lots of people always looking for wire there.

Thanks for the advice! I will probably try Ebay as a very last resort. |

Anybody want steel springs? I have more steel springs than anything (even wire) and it needs to go. Some galvanized, some primered, most of them just plain - might need to be cleaned.
$3 for 20 assorted springs (unless you have a preference) |

Springs were sold.
Not sure when wire will go permanently. Probably be around another month at this point and then leave (either recycle or donated).
Any of you have large coils of wire? I have a big metal spool thing too. Like 4 of them. I don't know how they work, but they are for dispensing wire I'm told. They are about 4.5 feet tall, steel... I can get pictures if anyone is interested.
Or a Pepsi machine? It's next on the list to go. |

The amount of wire in a lb. depends on the gauge of wire...
Let me know what you want and I'll double check to make sure we have it. |

The ST 17-7, 302, 304, and 316 are all stainless alloys.
a bit of google search will bring up information on the alloy property but Most of use 316 works well for jewlery as the molecular structure fixes the nickle cuting down on skin reactions to what little nickle present. |

Unless I am mistaken (which I could be, I'm not a wire expert) AWG 14 and 16 are .0641" and .0508" respectively, and I don't have either left.
Is there another size that you would be interested in? |
