what's the latest update for the Alpha Project? and is there a specific place where that would be shown... i've read the threads but they are over half a year old.
i have a tartan patch to submit and am wondering if it's even worth my time.

well, i might be wrong, but i think Sacredchao was handling all the assembly and everything. You might try contacting him.

i have not assembled the patches i have yet, i have been waiting for any stragglers that may show up.

we tried to get similar ring sizes in the borders, but it would be unrealistic to expect precision.

i was hoping to group similar ID rings in the same rom, and perhaps help with the draping/hanging effect of mail.. in that it wants to be thinner at the bottom than at the top. i might be able to keep the borderlines from curving into a mess... and, if i'm lucky, the lines will stay slightly more perpendicular to the floor.

I would love to send you a patch for this project, and I already have a great idea, but I have neither time or money to make it... Sad

Kim, how many patches have been submitted so far? When I get a few free days I'm planning on making another one, and I'm just curious as to about how many there are. Thanks! Very Happy

You bet Cindy. We have a grand total, I think, of 1 patch. We need more than 1 patch Smile

We have a few people who will send patches when they know where to send them.

This project has more or less never gotten off the ground. Everyone likes it, but, no one's gotten around to ever making a patch. There was a contest about it (our 2nd or 3rd contest?), and we got maybe a half-dozen entries, but I don't think anyone submitted their patches, just made a patch according to the Alpha Project criteria. Some of them have said they'd donate.

I think to get anything done, there really needs to be some cohesive effort undertaken to gather momentum and get people excited.

Anyway, yes, patches more than welcome Smile

I'll see what I can come up with. perhaps if some more pictures of patches start floating around people will be inspired to send theirs in. ---but where to send them?? we need that answered first I would say.

After the Alpha Project theme contest, I sent mine to sakredchao. I think he had posted the info in that theme contest thread while it was the current theme. Did you recieve it sakred?

To the guy who's avatar is a goat. I'll see if I can dig up his address tomorrow morning. I have to get some sleep sometime if I'm going to be up for 8am classes.
