Hello!
I am Samantha, and I am very new to chainmail, and even newer to this great resource of you all!
I am getting ready to order jump rings to make Jens Pind (with 18ga 1/8") and Japanese 12 in 2 bracelets (18ga 3/16" and 20ga 1/8"). How many jump rings would I need for each type of bracelet to make an 8" bracelet?
Please forgive me if there is already a forum topic on here about this... I couldn't find it, but I could be having a space cadet moment!
Thanks a bunch!

JPL 3 is 3 rings each segment and a segment will span approximately the internal diameterof your chosen rings so if you used 0.04" wire with an 0.125" ring 8" divided by 64 equals 0.125. 64x3 equals 192. I dont know how thick you want the J12in so I cant really help you there. |
