Well, I'll throw my hat in the "ring" too. *flinches as the bad pun* Surprised

I'm David. I'm in SW Indiana...Evansville to be precise. I'm one of three maillers in my apartment complex, though I'm the only one who has completed a project larger than a tie so far. Uber

I just wanted to say hi. Very Happy

OK, so my first project was six-color armor, done without a pattern...What can I say? I'm a masochist.

Nice. I've got a few friends down there... they don't maille or anything.

Anyway, I'm not in Vincennes anymore. I'm stationed in Terre Haute... going to college at Rose-Hulman IT to become a Computer Engineer. Anywho, nice to know there are others out there. Take care!

well, well, hoosiers abound.

so there is more than corn in Indiana they say....

Im in indy, and would love to get an indy mailling together(maille-in), or just camp somewhere and maille it up. I have a fantastic place for such an event, complete with limestone tower castle, waterfall and large concrete pad. as well a pretty decent sized grass camp spot, enough for 20 tents.
what it doesnt have is a picknick table, or a toilet facility of any kind(there are bushes, haha). or electricity. or fresh water.
I have been carveing soapstone and pipestone out there for 10 years. I have broken the place in and done a little maille by myself last week out there...but im new to the sport.

anyone interested, feel free to pm me and we can chat about the possibilities.

Also in Indiana, Mitchell to be exact. (It's that speck on the map near the other speck they call Bedford) Should arrange a gathering come late spring or something.

VERY LATE to the thread here but I'm in central Indiana. Still a bit of a drive from Muncie but Zionsville. I have family in Noblesville. Also, theres a chainmaille gathering twice a month on the north side of Indy.
