For granted SS shot would have been better but for sterling silver, rice in a one gallon pickle jar taped shut with duct tape rolling around in the truck worked real good for me. |

nevermind poor man's tumbler... how about poor woman's stainless steel mixed shot? trying to source some that is within my means isn't so easy! |

beetard - poor woman's stainless steel mixed shot ... If you coil your own stainless steel rings, collect the off-cuts, cut the longer ones down to a short length (eg a couple of mm) ... while it isn't proper mixed shot, it is a cheap alternative
