Hey everyone, I've recently gotten back into making chainmaille, after having been out of the game for a few years. In starting, while waiting for my paycheck so I could make a TRL order I bought some jump rings from a local bead craft store. They were 6mm outer diameter and .040 inch wire diameter. I also bought some 4mm 20 ga. I calculated the AR of the rings, and then while I was taking a break I decided to create a little program. It works like this:

Asks if the wire diameter is in inches (type yes or no)
Depending on the answer it either asks for the wire diameter in inches or mm.
Asks if the inner diameter is in inches (type yes or no)
Depending on the answer it either asks for the wire diameter in inches or mm.
It then calculates the AR, and spits it out. It's a simple program, but I thought it'd be a cool to be able to share it with my fellow maille artisans. It's written in python and packaged as an executable, so it requires no supporting software or anything. It currently runs from a command prompt but in the future I may recode it to have a simple gui, though it's not necessary really.

What do you guys think? And how would I go about uploading it?

Given the nature of software, you don't so much "Upload" it, as send it to me, and I'll evaluate it Smile
(Basically, run it through multiple virus scanners, check any install/uninstall routines actually work, see what it does to the hard drive and registry, etc)

While I'm sure you're trustworthy, and so is your software... It's always better to err on the side of caution.
