Hello all,
I have been asked to do a dog sculpture, anyone see one? If not I am thinking inlay but I have never done one, can someone help with that?

someone asked me to make a boxer sculpture too the other day. i don't know how im going to do it yet but will keep you posted with progress. what type of dog are you trying to make?

If you are looking at having to do an inlay here is a great program that works for almost everybody. It runs right off the web so there is nothing to download or buy.

Awesome, but how do you calculate ring count for this?

Usually I start by finding an image or drawing one.
Then scan and adjust the pallet to what's available.
40 shades of pink are just not going to happen with ring suppliers.
adjust the size using paint or other editing software realize each pixil is one ring.
Sometimes I go back and edit the image and then plug it back into the IGP program.
