I've always had a soft spot for sea serpents, ever since my grandmother had a set of loch ness monster figures in her living room
Very nice inlay!
Good choice on the eye! It catches enough |
Thank you!
I'm glad the eye isn't invisible.
Loch Ness monster figures? Cool!

I made this dragon right at the start, but haven't had a chance to photo till now.
MyDragon by Artefacts, on Flickr
He's made of various sizes of bright aluminium rings, scales, artistic wire and a sea glass tail end. Oh, and a modified clasp for his head. So he's a bit of a chimera, combining European dragon with Chinese dragon.

Not exactly "figures"... LOL, I explained poorly.
My grandmother was an eccentric lady Of the very best kind.
And in the 1980's, in England, she had (on top of her television with push button channel selection From 1 to 4) a four piece loch ness monster.
It had a head and neck piece, two "half circle" body pieces, and a short tail piece. You could move the individual pieces around, and the monster was "partially surfaced" above whatever it was on.
It looked largely like this: http://www.skeptiseum.org/index.php?id=61&cat=cryptozoology
In fact, given the age of my memory, and the origin of that set of figures, it likely was from that very series.
Now I'm reminiscing and rambling.

haKet, I put the picture of your entry in the post (rule #3). We need the actual picture or your entry in the contest voting thread will just be a page link and sometimes people don't click on links.
Also, is your picture upside-down...?

I'm new so Hi everyone!
I'm in with this Ice Fairy Necklace.
I made it for one of my LARP caracter who is an ice fairy.
I discovered chainmail jewelry about 6 months ago and I really love it! It's one of the biggest piece I made.
Thank you!
