In fact there's not the slightest intended Helm in Maybe, as it's simply a Onering with orbitals around the small rings, that are also sandwiched between its four neighboring large rings. And the basic Onering is just a modified Jens Pind Linkage. But sure: Helm Chain uses also orbitals perpendicular to the small rings, and sandwiching inbetween large neighboring ring pairs. So the comparison is somewhat valid, while it was originally not intended to be created.

BTW: I may note that your Maybe sample has a couple of large rings having lost its proper layering scheme; you might want to review it.

A chain is of use, but will break at the weakest link.
A weak weave will have the need to replace weak links.
A strong weave will survive even with weak links included.

Doesn't look too bad. Tip for Maybe and its modifications: Use rings out of the lower half of JPL AR range as small rings for Maybe - else you run into stability issues - for example in 16swg (1.6mm) I prefer 11/64" rings for that purpose, at an AR in the 2.8-2.85 region if made from BA. The large rings need to have at least 2-2.5 higher AR, then.

I like those earrings, they look like they are exploding in the middle. Great work.
