Hello, my name's Ryan and I'm new here. Just kinda getting started in chainmaille with my wife. I'm facing some confusion with the weave library and I wanted to see if I could get some clarification.

Some weaves have links to tutorials on how to make them, and others do not. Am I missing something on the weave pages on instructions for how to construct these weaves, or are some of the weaves simply just photographed and put up for us to figure out on our own? Sorry, I couldn't think of a better way to phrase that.

Thanks

You are not missing anything.

Most weaves do not have instructions to make them. Ones without tutorials you do not have to figure them out on your own. You can always ask questions here on the forums.

Some of them might not have tutorials and some might be closely related to another weave and you might have to figure it out by looking at tutorials of that one.

Try Library/Articles/Weave Tutorials for a list of the weaves that do currently have tutorials. Most of the common base weaves have been covered and many other weaves are just combinations or variations on a base weave.
