Anyone have links or recommendations for a chainmaille tie? No designs/colors, and I'd prefer a weave that could pass for formal wear. I'm trying out a sample to see how it looks of 4-1 18g 3/16 and 4-1 16g 5/16.

Ideas for pins to keep the tie from hitting people when I get my dance on are helpful too.

I think TRL sells a kit or tutorial for the tie.
As for restraining the tie something like this should work.

I found the tie bar via google image search, it should be fairly easy to make one with a jewelers saw and some copper or brass.
It will give you an opertunity to wear more chainmail.
