I tried the 3/4 Persian, and it went as expected; flexible enough that it won't hold the stone because of the raised face.

I then tried the E 4in1/6in1 edged and it looked really nice. Covered quite a bit of the stone, but hey, it showed off the weave and made a striking pendant.

Then I noticed a distorted ring on the edge. I decided to replace it. While I was trying to get the new ring back in (it was really tight), two more rings decided to come to a parting of the ways, and now I'm currently trying to reassemble the whole thing.

It's the rings. It's not me. I keep telling myself that. It's the rings. It's the cheap Artistic Wire rings. Marked 6mm, and it turned out to be outside diameter, throwing things off.

But I haven't given up. I had it once, I'll get it again.

*Walks away muttering.*

Yeah, I wouldn't touch the artistic wire rings with a 10 foot pole. Having said that, the ones I used (once!) were a very fine gauge, and I daresay fine gauge aluminium wire would do the same thing. You might need a stronger metal...

Received my first order of rings from TRL today. They're beautiful! I'm fixin' to spend some serious (well, for me) money for a variety of rings 'n things from TRL. I have 2 commissions to build from them, and if they don't please the customers, I don't know what ever will.

very nicely done. I totally dig it.

Always question what you know before you question what other people know. So you know some facts huh? where'd you get them facts from? Facts come from people and people lie. Can you prove what you know?I find it's best to speak from personal experience and never quote fox news.

Here's the commissioned bracelet I made from TRL's rings.

Beestings necklace made with 18 gauge non tarnish silver-plated wire.

I made the rings and wrapped the stone.

Should I be posting these separately? Thought I'd draw a little critique on one of them by now.

I would post separate if you want to discuss each separate.

Perhaps a moderator could split the posts for you.
