Forgive me if this is the wrong place, but I'm very proud of this and I wanted to share it and get opinions.
This is my first bracelet other than Byzantine. I figured out the crossover on my own (also proud since I've only been doing this for a month).
Made out of 18g, 5 or 6(what a terrible memory I have...)mm ID, copper rings.
And shepherds we shall be, for thee my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from thy hand, that our feet may swiftly carry out thy command. And we shall flow a river forth to thee, and teeming with should shall it ever be. En namine Patri, et Filli, et Spiritus Sancti. |

Very nice job. I don't think I have ever seen a corss over done like that before. I might have to borrow that idea.

| Wow! That's really beautiful! I've never liked the flat bracelets much as I've usually found them boring, but this looks really nice and interesting! Now I want to do a bracelet just like yours! Though I have to wait till I can get my hands on some suitable rings ^^' |

it's called "cabling" in knitting. almost every knitting technique has a maille counterpart. learning to knit causes increased maille prowess.

This is a picture of the two strands of I4-1 Connected up to the crossover. You can see on the lower half the two strands unconnected. The top and underside look identical as I used normal I4-1 connections.
The crossover, however, isn't actually connected, resulting in this:
This is when the crossover has been "untwisted." even when the bracelet is suspended, the crossover still mostly lays flat, and always stays flat while being worn.
