I have some 0.00125" aluminum wire for sale. It comes on a mini-spool with about 525 feet a spool.
This is the same stuff they use to weld integrated circuits and microchips.
I'd like $5 a roll, plus $2 shipping. I have 47 spools.
Are you insane enough to make something out of it?

O_O
that's thinner than 40 gauge O_O
what's the practical use for that? cause i dont see that being used for electrical purposes, cause aluminum is too weak for most of those to begin with, let alone it being that thin O_O
... and yet i want to buy some so much... i'll get back to you |

This is the same stuff they use to weld integrated circuits and microchips. I got it surplus from some tech place. This stuff is 20yrs old; I'm sure you cant even see the stuff they use in today's chips.

Human societies are like chain mail.
A single link will be worth nothing.
A chain is of use, but will break at the weakest link.
A weak weave will have the need to replace weak links.
A strong weave will survive even with weak links included.

I guess it would be easier to erode a maille pattern out of a wafer, than actually mailleing it using wire that thin.
BTW: If you made AR 4.0 rings from one spool, you would get (neglecting the kerf) more than 320,000 rings...
