would anybody know where i can get some 20 or 21 gauge silver wire? id preffer 21 gauge if i could find it, but i don't know where i can get any (and if you suggest melting down old coins im a coin collector so for me that's not an option, not to mention they are usually worth more than what the silver value melted down is).

You should be able to find silver wire several other places as well. Google is your friend. Smile

riogrand, FMG, and most of the big bead supply catalogs.
sterling and fine silver are quite common for bead work.
mostly for makeing your own findings or wrapping stones.

One of the best suppliers of sterling wire in the US is Monsterslayer. Fair prices and fast, fair price on shipping.
