I coil and saw-cut (is that the correct word?) all my rings. I do jewelry in sterling so I want clean cuts that hardly can be seen. As a perfectionist I wouldn't trust anyone else.

A drilling machine and knitting needles to make the coils.
A jeweler's saw, a vise and the knitting needles to easily cut the rings.

The basic english are no problems, but when it comes to use the write english words my english sucks! Very Happy
Since it's impossible to translate direct from swedish to english it becomes to many errors. ...

Well, I have finally managed to make a tutorial for my students with pictures made in Moray. Can't put it here though, since it's in swedish. But... Maybe the pictures can be useful anyway...

I only work in sterling silver and since I don't want ugly cuts on fine jewelry, I use a jewler's saw.
At first I held the coil in one hand and sawed with the other, but I have just started to fasten ...
