losthelm: JPL is very AR sensitive meaning if its to loose the weave just comes undone into spiral.

The most efficient way that I have come up is to soke the finnished product in vinegar. Vinegar eats the zinc away without harming the steel and making scratches.

It is bit too tight, not flexible enough.
Wire is 1,45mm and mandrel 12mm so ID is 8,276.

Here is one large ring jewelry Jens Pind wire is 3mm and mandrel 9.5mm
Largest one that I have made is 4mm wire with 12mm mandrel.

I have done jens pind from wire sizes 0.7mm to 4mm and various mandrel sizes to try this out and everyone acts like the top pic ...
