Any other recommendations for charging walnut?

I like my current setup and get decent results, but am looking to cut down on time.

Not planning a backing, I have it hand from my tent for shows and it is legible. Plus when the sun is behind me it looks awesome!

The walnut does a good job on it's own (and it really cheap) so I was just looking to augment it.

Now I need to think on the felt strips... hmmm...

Good call on using it on one ring first. I've been told the Zam can be "shattered" into a powder easily. I'm not as concerned about the barrel because it's a cheapo harbor freight thing.
