Then I realized; the ”true weave” form should be ”B, E4 reverse B,E4”, instead of ”B, E4, E4, B”, - that would remove the bolted feel.

You need to first add (or remove) one column of rings from one of the two edges you are trying to seam together.

You're trying to stitch a seam where the outermost rings are on alternating rows
