In this Dragon Tail tutorial, new rings are green, old are red. This may seem like an easy weave but I'm sure someone could get use out of it.
You need 2 sizes, one must fit inside the other (just like Dragonscale). These rings have (about) an AR of 7 and AR of 5. Preclose the small rings.
1. Hook a small ring onto a large one and close it.
2. Make another of these units and lay it on top of the first as shown.
3. Hook a small ring onto a large one, and then put the large ring through the first small ring as shown, trapping the second large ring.
4. Continue as needed. Colors changed for coolness.
