Cleaning Stainless Jewelry or Other Small Pieces
Article © MAIL User: Wulfric

Over time sweat, body oils and dirt will dull the shine of stainless chain pieces. I have found that the easiest way to clean them is to wash them with any dish washing liquid which contains a grease cutting agent. ("Dawn" is a good example.) This will also work with some of the phos bronze links.

After washing and rinsing the piece dry it with a soft towel and blow dry it a minute or two to make sure it is completely dry. Be sure the dryer is set on low and is at least 12" from it or the piece may become "to hot to handle". The piece should now have a nice shine and is ready to wear.
