Cleaning Galvy in a Snap!
(washer)
Article © MAIL User: MiStReSS DiVA
The simplest way to clean galvanized steel wire (or any other type of metal that won't rust) is to put it in a dish asher.
Just put in your dishwasher (make sure there are no dishes in there!) on the "Pots and Pans" setting. Put double the dishwashing detergent in, and ta-da! Clean, shiny armour. Make sure to take it out as soon as it's done, dry with a towel, and hang it up. It's much simpler than any other method I've found for cleaning it.
